Being on the board of Gramalaya Urban And Rural Development Initiatives And Network (GUARDIAN) for 6+ years, It was such a privilege to work with Damadoran learning first hand solving social problems – behaviour change first, demand next, then only toilet! World’s first and only micro credit organization that provided 100% of it’s loans to build toilets and for water!
Well deserved recognition for the man who spend his entire life working on sanitation! Created the first open defecation free village in the country! This M.SW grad pioneered the use of anaerobic bacteria replacing widely used aerobic model pits implementing twin pit model removing the need for hauling out fecal matter once the septic tank is full!
